STEVE WERNER
CEO and one of the owners of Dreamsports Center, Steve has been involved with the facility as a customer since day 1, 12 years ago. He retired from a successful technology career with Intel Corporation and led the purchase of Dreamsports in 2008. Steve’s focus at Dreamsports is overall General Management, leagues programs, facilities and expansion plans.
BIANCA OWENS
Bianca is the Director of Child Development Programs at Dreamsports Center. Bianca is a member of the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators (AACCA), the United States All Star Federation (USASF), and the North Carolina Cheerleading Coaches Association (NCCCA). Bianca has an extensive background in Child Development through the YMCA, and 8 years of coaching experience. Shes been through training at Lil’ Kickers Corporate Headquarters in Washington, and Lil Sluggers Corporate Headquarters in New York. Bianca is also currently working toward her degree in communications from Meredith College. In her spare time, Bianca coaches cheerleading at Cardinal Gibbons High School.
MATT MESSNER
Matt is the Night & Weekend Manager as well as the Director of Hockey Programs at Dreamsports Center. Matt also plays in our Adult Hockey League in both the Silver and Silver Plus divisions. He is currently working toward his degree in Middle Grades Education. Matt has 7 years experience as a YMCA Camp Counselor in his home state of Connecticut.
CORRIE ISMAILI
Corrie, Assistant General Manager at Dreamsports Center, is a NY transplant. Prior to moving to NC, Corrie worked as an Assistant General Manager and Director of Special Events for Chelsea Piers in New York City. Corrie uses her experience in the sports and entertainment industry, and as a parent of young children to oversee Camps, Child Development, Parties, Drop-ins, rentals, Customer Service, and overall office management and is the “behind the scenes” glue at Dreamsports. She is thrilled to be living in warmer weather and being a part of what she loves…seeing smiles on kids faces, as they have fun!
KUPONO LOW
Kupono is the Director of Soccer at Dreamsports Center. Kupono has coached at the youth, high school and collegiate level. Kupono also has 4 years Division 1 college playing experience at Fresno State where he earned his Bachelors in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Children and Family Development. Kupono also was drafted and played one year in the MISL (Major Indoor Soccer League) and is currently in his 10th season as a professional player and 5th season for the Carolina Railhawks.
JEFF SMITH
Assistant League Director. Jeff works with anything League related at Dreamsports Center, whether it be Soccer, Lacrosse, or Hockey. Jeff also plays in our Adult A-B Monday Night Soccer League, and has played at Dreamsports since he was 10 years old. He could talk about sports all day, and works as a part time Freelance Sports Writer as well. Jeff is currently one of the Soccer Officials at Dreamsports Center, and also referees outdoor soccer.
