Youth & Adult In-Line Hockey Leagues
We offer the best recreational program for in-line hockey in the region. Over 400 co-ed teams per year compete in age groups from 7 year olds to our 7 different levels of adult leagues. From a beginner to the player with a slap shot to frighten even the best goalie, everyone gets to play. Youth Coaches rotate all players equally, and the goal for everyone is to have fun playing the game. We have 4 seasons per year. All seasons are 10 weeks of regular games with 2 weeks of playoffs. Teams play one game per week except in leagues with odd number of teams.
All new players must purchase a reversible house jersey. The cost is $37.71 (includes tax) and jerseys are available in our pro shop. Players may also upgrade to our lightweight jerseys with names and numbers for an additional fee. Please check our in house pro shop for pricing.

*Please note, game dates are subject to change and may fall on weekends on occasion. Youth recreational teams will have a designated number of practices which will be scheduled by the league. Players are not guaranteed placement on any given team and are subject to change each season.
Age Requirements:
- Adult = Over 18 yrs (or 16-17 travel players)*
- Junior Pro = 15-17 yrs (or 14U yr travel players)*
- 13/14 = 13-14 yrs (or 12U travel players)*
- 11/12 = 11-12 yrs (or 10U travel players)*
- 9/10 = 9-10 yrs (or 8U travel players)*
- 7/8 = 7-8 yrs
- Learn to Play = 5-9 yr olds
*Dreamsports Travel Players will only be able to age up as a second team within current season. Their first team registration must be within their age group. There is a second team registration discount of $25.
All deviations from Age Groups must be approved by the Dreamsports Director of Sports Programs.
Placement is not guaranteed and requires approval from the Dreamsports Sports Director.
Equipment Required: Helmet with a cage, elbow pads, shin guards, cup, mouth piece, gloves, in-line hockey skates, and a hockey stick.
Dreamsports Youth Rec Hockey - Team Placement
Dreamsports Center does not guarantee team placements or team requests. Dreamsports evaluates all players each season and coordinates teams with equal skill levels.
Players in our Youth recreational league register to play in the league. All of our Youth teams are House Teams meaning the rosters are managed by Dreamsports. Team placements may be requested but are not guaranteed, even if the player has previously been a member of a specific team. Team rosters will be shuffled approximately 2 times per year based on coach, referee, and statistical evaluations. We reserve the right to move players during the season as well to improve balance. We do not expect to have to make roster changes after 3 weeks of league play in a season.

Dreamsports Center now offers private lessons with experience skate and hockey instructors! All ages welcome!
Private lessons are one hour long and based on availability. The cost is $40 per hour.

Gerry Reid Memorial Hockey Tournament
As many of you have heard, Gerry Reid, a long time player at Dreamsports Center was killed in a terrible traffic accident on I40 in early March. Friends of Gerry along with Dreamsports would like to thank all of who participated in the tournament.
Gerry had a wife Mandy and two young children, Emma, age 7 and Caleb, age 5. All proceeds will be donated to Gerry's family to help with medical bills and also to benefit Gerry's children's education.

NEW: Teen Hockey for Ages 14 thru 18
For SUMMER 2010, Dreamsports will start a new league for in-line hockey players ages 14 thru 18. This will be a league where players will be able to form their own teams.
This league is intended for players 14 – 18 years of age
that want to play with a self made team. Dreamsports will not manage the rosters of these teams. The team fee will be the
same as our adult league with no practices included. Games will be held Sunday afternoons and evenings depending on the
number of teams that register. This league will be managed much as our adult league is and will be a transitional step for our
youth players before moving into the adult leagues.

Learn to Play In-Line Hockey
The Dreamsports Learn to Play Hockey program is designed for children ages 5 through 9 years and works on the basic skills of skating, stick handling, passing, shooting and positional play. We offer four 8-week sessions a year. Players must demonstrate skating proficiency before starting Learn to Play.
Cost is $106 for Dreamsports Player Members and $120 for non-members for one 8 week session.
*Dreamsports Player Membership: $40 for Individual or $100 for Family.

Learn to In-Line Skate Classes
Dreamsports Center Learn to Skate Program is designed for kids ages 3-9. We offer several 8 week session through out the year. We use in-line skates in all of our classes. Each child will be evaluated on the first day of class and properly placed in a beginner or intermediate level group. Participants must have a bicycle or hockey helmet. In Line skate rentals are included in fee, if needed.

Cost: $84.25 ($75.25 for Dreamsports Player Members)
Each Session has 7 classes. Each class is 45 minutes in length. Choices are Fridays at 5pm or Saturdays at 9am or 10am.
Summer Session: June 25th - August 14th, 2010

Fall I Session: August 20th - October 9th, 2010
- No Classes September 18th
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Dreamsports Center Refund Policy: All refunds requested before the start of the season will be subject to a $25 non-refundable processing fee. Refunds requested after the start of the season are subject to a $50 processing fee, plus players must pay for all games up to the date of cancellation. All cancellations must be received in writing. Exceptions will be made in certain cases of season ending injuries, unexpected job relocations, or other select circumstances on a case by case basis.
