We will be restructuring our 8U & 10U age groups beginning with the Summer season. Going forward, 8U & 10U will be combined into 3 separate divisions: 10U Black, 10U Red, 10U Gold.
The 10U Black division will be for beginner level players with a maximum weight of approximately 90 pounds and maximum height of approximately 5 feet tall.
The 10U Red division will be for all intermediate level 9 & 10 year olds and advanced 7 & 8 year olds; players will have to tryout to play in this division.
The 10U Gold division will be for advanced 9 & 10 year olds and select 7 & 8 year olds. All players will be required to tryout for this division; 7 & 8 year olds will only be allowed to tryout for the 10U Gold division if selected from the 10U Red division tryout.
There will be no minimum age for the 10U Black division for the Summer, but we will begin a separate 6U age group for the Fall season.
12U: Black division (beginners) & Red division (intermediate & advanced), minimum age is 11 years old. Teams get 5 practices.
14U: single division, minimum age is 13 years old. Teams get 4 practices.
17U: single division, minimum age is 15 years old. Teams get 2 practices.

Fees:
The Youth Hockey League fee is $155 per player. All players must also be Dreamsports members. Membership information is available here.
Goalie discounts applied in 10U and older only if a player commits to play the goalie position full-time.
All new youth players must purchase a reversible house jersey. The cost is $32.03 (includes tax) and jerseys are available at the front desk.
Age/League Restrictions: Players must play in their age group with the following exceptions: Players may play up only if they are already registered to play for a team in their own age group. Travel Players (Dragon, or independent) must play in the Red Division of their age group. Age eligibility is determined by a player’s age during the season. Players with a birthday during the season may choose which age group to play

Evaluations & Tryouts will be Sunday 6/9/13
Fall 2013 Season:
Season dates: September 30 – December 19
Registration Opens: Monday 8/5/13
Registration Closes: Tuesday 9/3/13
New Player Evaluation & Red Division Tryouts will be Sunday 9/8/13 for 8U & 10U Players or Sunday 9/15/13 for 12U – 17U Players
